Last weekend, I had my second bridal shower along with a party thrown for us by a few sweet family friends. Mixed in were loads of appointments of selecting linens (DONE!) and my final dress fitting as well as hair and makeup trials. It's finally coming down to the wire. We are also mailing our invitations out today. So many different sources say when its proper to mail out invitations. The ones that say 3 months in advance, well, I have one thing to say to that..."ain't nobody got time for that." 6 weeks out works just fine for us.

Remember I said I had my hair/makeup trial for the wedding? Well who on Earth knew this gals hair could get quite so big. I guess the saying "the bigger the hair, the closer to God" ? Well, I was mighty close on Saturday afternoon...and no, my hair will not look like this on the wedding day :) I can't spoil the surprise!
I head out next Thursday morning for my Bachelorette Weekend with my best lady friends. I cannot wait!!
