Lucky!

Ok, so I have never won ANYTHING in my life people. Literally, never. So it was quite a shock when on a whim one day I entered a Lucky Magazine giveaway, and gosh low and behold I won!

I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!...

    Austin and I had the joy of sharing an amazing weekend with friends and family to celebrate our engagement.  Our parents hosted our first engagement party oyster roast at Wrightsville Beach. What more perfect way to bring in fall with friends and family than cold beer and fresh oysters? It was fabulous.

Nail Polish Anonymous...

 Okay, so anyone who knows me, probably knows my serious addiction to anything nail polish. My collection has spiraled out of control and I'm even used to the eye roll I sometimes receive as I lug in a few top contenders to each manicure appointment.

Well friends, I added another to my collection today and I could not be more excited.  Here she is, the latest from the Muppet Holiday 2011 OPI collection.  It is called "Warm and Fozzie"  Adorable right?! While the picture may not do it proper justice, the real life color is perfectly holiday.


Can't wait to use it!

Birthday!

Well...it seems to be that time again.  I am approaching yet another birthday on Sunday, and cannot believe all of the blessings I have had in the past year.  So far this year I have...finished school FOREVER (three cheers for that),  gotten engaged to my very best friend in the whole entire world, found out I was going to be an auntie from one of my very dearest friends (you can visit her blog here) and entered the big girl working world ( I wish I could say three cheers for that as well) ! 

As I look back on this year, it was a huge year of growth for me and I could not have done it without the love and support from my wonderful friends and family.  I love each of you dearly! 


What are some birthday traditions you do with friends or family? What makes you feel special on your birthday?

First Time for Everything!

Hi Darlings!

I decided it would be fun to start blogging daily as a way to not only keep up with the 65756782 things going on in my life right now, but also have a way to look back on days.  Perhaps like an online journal if you will.  I say that I will stay on top of this as best as possible, but I just guess we will see how that turns out ;-)
